The Downee gate latch range was missing a simple, polymer latch for general use.
There was a gap between the top of the range magnetic Top pull latch and the standard metal gravity latch.
The design brief was to develop a versatile polymer magnetic latch for gates of different materials.
Most importantly, the latch should fit glass gates, as there was an increasing demand for these type latches on pool fences.
